Liquid detergent plant planning begins with a clear description of the project: what you want to produce, what facilities already exist and what still needs to be decided. A capacity figure alone cannot define the equipment, layout or quotation scope.
For a new factory or an existing-plant upgrade, organise your enquiry into three groups: confirmed information, provisional targets and questions for the supplier. This makes the first discussion useful even when detailed engineering has not started.
Record the Project Starting Point
Prepare:
Project country and location.
New factory, capacity expansion or existing-line modification.
Available building drawings, equipment lists and site photographs.
For a new plant, explain whether the building has been selected or is still being planned. For an upgrade, describe the specific problem you want to address, such as limited mixing output, insufficient buffer storage or a mismatch with packaging capacity.
Mark any equipment you hope to retain. Its suitability and connection requirements should be assessed before reuse is assumed.
List Products and Production Targets
Prepare:
Planned products, such as liquid laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid or liquid hand wash.
Required output for each product.
Capacity units and planned daily operating hours.
Specify whether output means per hour, per batch or per day. For batch production, the full cycle includes preparation, mixing, any required temperature adjustment and discharge. Cleaning and product changes also affect available operating time.
Keep tonnes, litres and bottle counts distinct until product density and filling quantities are confirmed. A storage tank’s volume is not its hourly production capacity.
If the product mix is provisional, identify the main product first and list additional products as targets for assessment.
Describe Known Product Characteristics
Prepare:
Available viscosity information and its measurement temperature.
Raw material forms, including liquids, powders or pastes.
Known heating, cooling, foaming or cleaning requirements.
These details help assess preparation, mixing and transfer needs. Multiple products may require different arrangements; do not assume one equipment configuration can handle every formulation without adjustment.
An initial enquiry does not require a complete confidential formula. If formulation work is unfinished, describe the intended product and basic characteristics. List unresolved process questions for later technical discussion rather than supplying guessed specifications.
Connect Liquid Production with Packaging
Prepare:
Whether the project includes liquid preparation only or also storage, transfer, filling and packaging.
Container types, filling quantities, cap styles, labels and final packing formats.
Required output for each main packaging format.
Liquid preparation capacity and filling speed are separate requirements that must be matched. Bottles per hour must be considered together with the quantity filled into each bottle.
If a filling line already exists, provide its specifications and actual operating information. If packaging is undecided, share the intended container formats and ask which details are needed for equipment selection. Buffer storage and production scheduling can then be assessed together.
Check the Building and Utilities
Prepare:
Available floor space, usable height and access for equipment installation.
Electricity supply and available electrical capacity.
Water source and available water-quality information.
Existing heating and cooling utilities, where relevant.
Distinguish between confirmed utility capacity and services that are merely planned. An available water connection, for example, does not by itself establish that water quality and quantity meet process requirements.
For an existing factory, identify fixed equipment positions and connection points. For a new building, highlight layout decisions that remain open so they can be considered during planning.
Separate Requirements from Items for Evaluation
Prepare:
Operations you want automated and those intended for manual handling.
Equipment supplied by Meibao, retained by your factory or purchased elsewhere.
Requested engineering, installation, commissioning and training scope.
Homogenization, vacuum processing, clean-in-place (CIP) and PLC or DCS control should be evaluated against the process and operating requirements. Listing them in an enquiry does not mean they are confirmed standard inclusions.
Before requesting a detailed quotation, review the provisional items with the supplier and record the agreed basis. Meibao’s liquid detergent production line page provides a starting point for discussing relevant production systems.
Start with the Information You Have
Send Zhejiang Meibao Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. your product type, target capacity with units, packaging specifications and project location at mbl@cnmbl.com.
Add any available site information and mark missing details as “to be confirmed.” Other requirements can be clarified during subsequent technical discussions.
